Services

“Rapid Technology” expresses 3D-CAM’s overall strategy to provide an array of prototyping techniques and processes that will assist our customers in determining the best solution for their needs.

In this section, we introduce the rapid prototyping services that we offer, including Stereolithography (SLA) prototyping and design consultation, as well as the many options available for both limited-run and full-scale production of plastic and metal parts.

sla1 Rapid Prototyping
Rapid Prototyping processes include Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), and various wax pattern approaches that best support model development.
casting31 Metal Parts from Investment Castings
For making metal prototypes and limited production runs of aluminum, bronze, and steel castings, investment casting patterns such as SLA QuickCast, SLS or Polyjet Wax Patterns and Epoxy Tool Wax Patterns can be used.
rtv_mold_ Polyurethane Castings from RTV Tooling
Using an SLA or CNC-machined master pattern, RTV rubber tools are created and used to cast polyurethane duplicates. A wide range of material selection is available to support limited run production parts.
p9010039 CNC Machining: Tools, Parts and Prototypes
For machining plastic or metal prototypes, and making aluminum or steel molds for plastic injection-molded parts, CNC machining is the best choice.
p9010029 Plastic Injection Molded Parts and Tooling
Using aluminum, steel, or ZAP tooling, moderate-sized runs of plastic parts can be produced from a large selection of thermoplastic materials.
cad2 Product Design and CAD/CAM Services
In support of our tooling and prototyping services, 3D-CAM offers design and consultation on CAD modeling, materials, and production, and inventor assistance.
