Rapid Prototyping Services
From single prototypes to mass-production, from metals to plastics, at 3D-CAM, we have the experience and state-of-the-art rapid prototyping facilities to help you at each step in the process of turning first-look concepts into finished products.
In this section, we describe the rapid prototyping services that we offer, including design consultation and stereolithography SLA prototyping as well as the many options available for both limited-run and full-scale production of plastic and metal parts.

Rapid Prototyping Design
Though many of our customers come to us with ready-to-make 3-dimensional CAD designs, we continue to offer design support and consultation if needed.
Stereolithography (SLA) Prototyping
Throughout its history, 3D-CAM has been a leader in high capacity stereolithography.
Many of the RP&T (rapid prototyping and tooling) services offered by 3D-CAM in both plastics and metals, rely on an SLA master pattern. For some of our customers, however, SLA technology is all that's required for rapidly developing a presentation or engineering model.
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) Prototyping
The latest generation of Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) machines has given 3D-CAM
Product Development an additional avenue for generating patterns and prototypes.
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is a solid-based rapid
prototyping method that extrudes material, layer-by-layer, to build a model. The
system consists of a build platform, extrusion nozzle, and control system.

Wood Working
Some types of rapid prototyping molds require wood support. For this reason, we have a full on-site wood shop.
Finishing Services
In our on-site shop, each rapid prototyping master is hand-finished, benched, and verified for dimensional accuracy and surface integrity. We will paint and silk screen your prototypes to exact specifications, ensuring the highest quality and visual appearance so that your product is ready for presentations, trade shows, etc.
this is text meant just to take up lots of space at the bottom of the page, so that if
there is only a table or something in the content part of this page, the content still
takes up the majority of the screen. if there is not any text here, then sometimes there
will be just a table here, and the left navigation bar to the left will be kinda wide...
